Pablo Terry has had an illustrious career as one of the top flute players in the world. Not only has he made a huge career in Cuba and Canada but has performed throughout the world with some of the top Salsa artists. Pablo and his band are not just known for their musical and vocal talents but are recognized as amazing entertainers who engage with their audience in a way that very few bands are capable of. Often compared to the famous Dixie Chicks, this amazingly talented all-girl trio plays a mixture of folk, country and gospel and are well known in the Weston area. They are regular performers at the Dundas Square Busker fest and at the Canadian National Exhibition as well as at the Weston Farmers' Market. Formal Opening of the Festival with speeches from our Municipal, Federal and Provincial political representatives as well as the Board of Management of the Weston Business Improvement Association, the main sponsors of the Festival.
Organized by two of Weston’s premier teenage focused agencies, Frontlines and Urban Arts, teenagers from the Weston area and outside will compete in the final heat of the “Best Dance Group” competition. The teenagers have been working hard on their performances and the final six will compete for the last phase of the competition on our main stage. You’ll be amazed at the talent of these young people.

Elmer Ferrer is widely recognized as one of the world’s best modern guitarists. Critics have compared his guitar skills to people like Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan. Elmer and his band will entertain you with one of the most exciting performances you have seen, a performance that has already been played in front of audiences of 90,000 people. Elvis impersonators abound and on our main stage you will see one of the youngest (12 years old) impersonators and one of the more seasoned Elvis impersonators, both of whom have won awards at the Elvis Festival in Collingwood.
Devon is well known in the Caribbean community as well as on the international circuit as one of the top Reggae and Calypso artists in Canada. Devon has won several awards and has performed at some of the most prestigious Caribbean festivals. Devon has a style all of his own and if you love Reggae, you must see Devon and his band.
Acclaimed Somali, actress, singer, performer, Faduma Nakruma who has just completed an American tour will grace us with an amazing performance. Well known in the Somali community and no stranger to Weston, Faduma’s voice is a pure delight.
Over the past ten years Samba Squad has evolved from a small drumming school to one of the most sought after bands for festivals and concerts in North America and around the world. Their sound is indescribable. The sixteen member band is masters of percussion and their vocal abilities are equally impressive.
